My gut says they should continue on with 3 new chapters based off the ending of events I episode 9. Just continue moving that world and story forward.
That's my thinking too. Unless they develop another story-line or overall approach to push the star wars world forward but that could be risky and confusing.

Not officially.
The chatter seems to suggest they're getting a BTS sizzle reel at celebration. And *maybe* a teaser. But it makes no sense to show a BTS sizzle reel before you've shown a trailer. Nobody really knows at this point. there was a report of a sizzle reel being furiously worked on. I dunno.
Could be the footage was shown to the Disney shareholders? But that was out of sequence and just random.

Had a thought. And it rhymes with what the empires end book says.
what if Palpatine was just a vassal and a herald for Snoke & preparing the galaxy for his arrival from the unknown regions? Maybe he was a servant to him and and readying the 'stage' for his master to arrive and dominate?

Because that would mean he has been totally misrepresented throughout what we've already seen in Star Wars. He's basically the cipher for evil and all that is wrong with the galaxy. Everything he's done has been to build his power. Everything. Now, all of a sudden, he was just preparing the way for someone else? Doesn't work.
Now, if Snoke ends up being Plageus or something, that could work.

I guess I don't understand how one of those things is different from the other.

Palpatine believes Plageus to be dead, so he's not paving the way for him. He's operating out of his own machinations.

Palpatine had Thrawn out in the unknown regions (outside the galaxy in the dark basically) Looking for some dark force that he felt. I don't wanna ruin empires end so I'll jut say that when she's pregnant with Ben, she's having all these dreams about being grabbed on the dark and hands grabbing stars and extinguishing them one by one and luke tells her 'the brighter the light, the darker the shadow' and we know snoke wants Ben cos he's tied and powderful in both light and dark.
So I just ruined the only worthwhile bit of empires end but I don't care. It's a shit book. But that is in it and is canon.

Why did you say plageuis? I'm really dying to know. My pal thinks it is too
