For those who have not read the Ahsoka novel, that last episode is pretty much an animated version of some scenes from the book. It's not exactly from the book. But it's a different version of the same basic timeline/locale.

All I remember from that book is the family she was with being called the pharties.

I did the audiobook. Work from there.

So yaddle just gets killed. By a lightsaber. And never mentioned again? By the council of anyone?

Am I missing something here ?

That scene took place while most of the council was on Naboo for Qui-Gon's funeral and the end of Phantom Menace. Attack of the Clones takes place another decade-plus later. Any convo about Yaddle would've happened in the interim. I'd venture to guess they never found her body and would have no idea how she was killed (or even dead in the first place).

They all of yoda at least would have sensed it. I’m just reading now that convo happens when they return to the temple with Anakin, after he faces Maul in the sands of Tatooine.

I kinda buy it I have no choice given I haven’t seen the prequels in ages

They were standing two feet from a Sith Lord at Jinn’s funeral and throughout the next decade and had no idea. The dark side clouded everything.

We knew that Yaddle didn't speak the same way he does. But Yoda, Yaddle and Grogu are the only three examples of his species that I'm aware of, so we don't know if Yoda is the only member of his species that talks like he does or not.

But, again, yes, we knew Yaddle didn't speak that way.

I guess I deserved that, but yes, I was only asking about Yaddle.

I’m gonna make this a Star Wars weekend since Mrs Wease will be gone. Gonna watch all of this, get caught up on all the SW comic titles I get (I’m about 8 months behind on each of them right now) and maybe start Andor. Haven’t decided on that last one.

This series was fucking fantastic. More please.

I’m wondering now if Sifo-Dyas was just a construct or fabrication created by Palpatine/Dooku. Is he even mentioned in AOTC by any Jedi other than Obi-Wan? Been too long.

He's a real person that we see in The Clone Wars animated series.

But the origin is pretty funny. Basically, he's a typo. :D

I don’t remember him from Clone Wars at all.

He only appears in one episode. And I think it's the 6th season. But he's mentioned a few times other than that.

Nah, he's a real Jedi.

But there was a time when Lucas was writing the first draft of AotC where he wasn't a real dude. But a typo changed his mind.
