The prequels have the better stories, though.

The prequels had a single creative vision, were less nostalgia driven, expanded into great animated projects, and had far better world building than the sequels.

The prequels are better yeah, but also super dated. The digital backgrounds are awful. The sequel look amazing but they are a big mess.

The two stand alone movies that came out during the sequel era are far better than any of the 3 sequels, unfortunately. That makes me a little sad, but the sequels aren't terrible. They still have some good story, I just think a little more could have been done.

The Disney-era has given us the excellent Rogue One, as well as The Mandalorian. As for the sequel trilogy, is has the great Adam Driver as the ever interesting Kylo Ren, the overall acting is less stiff, it has arguably less annoying stuff (there is no Jar Jar or C3PO on the conveyor belt), it is generally fast moving, with lots of action. Not unlike the prequels, there are some stunning scenes, but overall the ST looks better, much because of time gone by.

I’ll take the Prequels over Sequels any day I think both have their faults and both have amazing moments.

But the story of the prequels is legendary.
Revenge of the Sith is the best of the 6 films for me.

Attack of the clones and Phantom Menace horrifically underrated

But both fail to capture the original Trilogy feel.

Mando feels the closest thing to the originals for me.

The worst thing the sequels did was make the prequels look good in comparison.

Not enough love for Solo these last few pages. It’s the funnest movie to come out of this world since ANH

Ditto! I've posted this half a dozen times on the board: Solo gets successively better each minute of its screen time. It's great and I hope we get a follow-up with that cast (more likely via Disney+ series).

Funny thing is, Solo is actually a prequel.

It really does. I remember sitting down in the theater, and in the opening moments feeling like "ehhh..." By the end, I was having such a blast.

But the sequel doesn’t even have to be about Solo.
