The worst part is, if you took those guys out of the episode, it goes down exactly the same. A little better fighting by the Gamorean Guards would have gotten Kryzakstan to the Throne Room, and Boba Fett still would have used his jet pack to catch the Mayor's flunky.
Actually, after the twins gave Kryzakstan to Boba, he could have chased down the Mayor's flunky and done the Pike-related espionage.

I can’t argue the “street gang” appeared to be riding vespas outside of that I loved the episode.
I was heartbroken when the sand people’s tribe were eliminated I Loved seeing BK he was awesome I was spewing Bobba just let him go And the rancor being trained by Danny trejo was gold

Did anyone else pick up something sinister in the “don’t worry he’ll be back” when Danny Trujo addressed the rancor or was it just me ??
I originally thought Trejo would turn out to be a Hutt double agent but I don’t think it’s going in that direction. Trejo seemed to have genuine affection for the rancor.
These writers aren’t capable of sinister. The tone has been all over the place and too light.

I watched it again and I am still undecided. I could just be typecasting Trejo as the bad guy. I also can’t see why else you’d put in the scene If it wasn’t ??
The Vespa scene was a tad cringe but it Wasnt that bad. I assume it was a rebels chase scene recreation.
I dont know about this show. I think i only watch it because its star wars. I dont think the stories are that interesting nor are the characters that engaging. There are some elements that are fun to watch (evil chewie!) and I am a sucker for star wars world building.

I dunno what I was expecting or wanted in this series either. But not everything in Star Wars has to be smash bang wow! They’ve avoided the guest star of the week thing the mando was guilty of. That’s good. Stories can pan out at different paces. We’ve only 3 episodes left of this. Or 4? It’s all felt like building up backstory for whatever’s to come. But you’d have thought whatever that is would be happening by now.
Let’s see what it does. I loved everything in this except that chase. It made no sense and wasn’t entertaining if that’s what it was trying to be. Who knows.
