I was thinking today ... why don't Luke and his family (or really anyone on Tatooine) wear sunglasses?
Then I thought, maybe they evolved to not need them, but then I wondered, what planet did all of these humans even evolve on? Have they been gone long enough to adapt to life on other planets?
I mean, there is a planet for the Akbar's and the Squidhead people and the Kimonians have their own planet and those bug guys who made the droids have their own planet, etc, but humans are just everywhere. Have they just been around long enough to spread and infest the whole galaxy? Do they have a home planet? Did a bunch of beings evolve on other planets and just happen to look pretty much the same?
So, y'know, sunglasses ... what the fuck is up with evolution in the Star Wars universe?

You’re equating “humans” to beings from earth. But they’re not. And we have no way of knowing exactly where those beings began or how they’ve evolved over the centuries.

I fully admit to using "human" to mean, "the aliens in Star Wars who appear most like Earth humans." As to the second part of your post, that exactly the thing I'm pondering!
