If there was a movie about Luke's days in between Empire and Jedi, would you be alright with a different actor playing Luke? Or a movie about Luke just after Jedi.
I'd be 100% fine with a different actor playing "young Luke." I think it's a dumb idea to make those movies in general. But a different actor playing that character has nothing to do with it. I think getting hung up on a different actor is a little silly, personally. Makes zero sense to me.

The more Luke Skywalker the better!
Yeah, honestly, Luke is a great character. And if they decide they need to fill in more of his story, I'm fine with it.

I dont think it will happen just because we are going to see luke as an elder jedi in the next - maybe 2 - movies.
Luke didnt become something interesting until he crossed paths with Obi Wan. There is no story there.
Also, he was the original trilogy story. Luke is done and he's perfect.
The first thing we see from luke in Jedi is him proclaiming himself as a Jedi. Clearly he is not, but it is quite the leap from getting his hand cut off and crying to proclaiming himself a jedi.

So, yea. Id like that story.
Alas, that ship has sailed.
This is what I was thinking. Although I don't think he's actually a Jedi Knight until the end of RotJ, he definitely advances a ton in the year between V and VI. He must've seen a lot of shit, and I'd like to see it too.

I agree. But there's enough of a time gap between 5 & 6 (especially) and 6 & 7, that if they wanted to explore some things, they certainly could. But I'm team you.

But he's not done. Not anymore.

Yes. It's absurd and frankly stupid that he only got 4 billion out of it. I get that it was 4 billion CASH. But still. He could have easily moved it for double that in cash and triple or quadruple otherwise. But it's not like he needs the money. Also, he's still making coin on the profits and the merch. So...
