The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Set within the timeline of The Mandalorian, this new live-action series from executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will intersect with future stories and culminate into a climactic story event

This show desperately needs Miggs Mayfeld!

No she’s Dave’s baby. George was all in making clone wars and wanted an apprentice to anakin. That was that.
I never hated her Not even in the early seasons where she was annoying to most. but I hated the idea of anakin having an apprentice we never heard of. I’m glad I was wrong. She’s the best.
Dave is writing her entire series. It’ll be glorious

That article says that Filoni created Ahsoka. I thought Lucas created her.
I tried reading about it. From what I can gather, both Filoni and Lucas was integral to her creation. Lucas decided that Anakin needed a padawan. There was one called Ashla already in development for another story completely, probably pitched by Filoni, which Lucas then renamed Ashoka and moved to the Anakin-story. Henry Gilroy eventually changed the spelling to Ahsoka. Filoni in dialogue with Lucas, then worked extensively on her background, look, and future development.
Ashoka is an Indian goddess. A lot of Ahsoka is inspired by the animated movie Princess Mononoke.
I think a lot of people expected this show to be a Cara Dune (and Co.) spinoff. At this point, it seems like Cara is done and so is the show, unfortunately.
BUT!
What if Cobb Vanth lives? It could be really cool to give Cobb Vanth a spinoff show where he is a Ranger of the Republic. Could essentially be the same basic show with just a little casting switch. Give the fans more of Vanth and of lowkey favorite Carson Teva!
But cobb loves his town. He’s never been off world even. That we know. You could rework it but I’d leave that alone.
Probably means they’re making an entire series about him
Totally. I guess I figured there would either be some major event overhaul in the BoBF finale, a restructuring of the planet's power structure or Freetown gets wiped out or something like that. There's a way to make it work, I think. But your point is super valid. The guy we've met so far wouldn't just up and leave without a good reason.
