These were all so cool. Something to love even in the not so cool ones. But overall love everything here. I hope we see more of this or even a Continuation of them.

Just finished the first episode. dime is right. It was really fucking cool. I didn’t really have this series on my radar since I don’t really care anything about anime and it looked like they were just going with their own characters and such so I went in not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. This first episode was a lot of fun. The grainy texture reminded me of old Kung fu movies I’d watch on tv on Saturday afternoons when I was a kid. And the story was ok. Pretty common plot that’s been used a BUNCH over the years but they did a good job with it. Overall, if the rest of the season is this good, it’ll be an enjoyable ride.

They all play to the big anime / Japanese culture tropes and it’s better used in some episodes than others. But that’s the point I guess. There’s far more to love here than not.
