Besides the fact that this is Ahsoka, I'm most excited at the possibility of a live action Ezra who by now is more mature and most likely seen and done some shit.

There was a casting call ad put out for the series and the character description screams Ezra, but they have the characters name as ‘Riz’. And the character will be a fixture on the show it seems. It’s Ezra. Although we heard Ezra had already been cast. Who knows
Riz is described as a bit of a lone wolf, world-wise despite his young age and able to handle anything life throws his way. This character is listed as a series regular with options.

There’s gotta be right? And chop.
This is great news. Means they’re about to start production soon enough too. Been carefully avoiding all set photos n all that. Not that’s there’s been all that much. Might Have to have a peek at whatever emerges out of Ahsokaa production though.
This casting sorta confirms it’s picking up from Rebels ending right? Feels that way.

Star Wars: Dave Filoni Talks The ‘Thrilling’ Ahsoka Writing Process – Exclusive The Mandalorian: Season 2 Episode 5 By Ben Travis | Posted18 Minutes Ago Over the course of several years, Ahsoka Tano became one of Star Wars' most beloved characters – despite having only really existed in animated form. Through the Clone Wars and Rebels series, she grew up as Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi Padawan, and grew in complexity with every passing season. And then finally, in the second season of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka finally made the leap to live action – this time played by Rosario Dawson, in an episode written and directed by her co-creator Dave Filoni. Proving a massive hit on that show, it wasn’t long before Lucasfilm announced the character’s own spin-off series, in a show taking place in the wider Mando storyline. Speaking to Empire, Filoni opened up about progress on the show – which he’s currently writing. “It’s thrilling, I gotta tell you,” he Filoni of the scripting process. “It’s something you imagine doing for a long time. And then it’s kind of startling when you’re sitting there, and now you have to do it.” As you’d imagine, the show is offering him the chance to tell an Ahsoka story he’s always wanted to tell – with some new additions. “I thought of this adventure for Ahsoka for a long time, and it’s interesting to see how it’s evolved,” he says. “Years ago, I never would have imagined that it was sprung from a branch of a tree that had anything to do with a guy [like] Din Djarin, or a child that looks like Yoda. It’s a great lesson for me on how, when you have other creatives like Jon Favreau, they can help lend such dimension and depth to what you’re doing.”
The series is expected to arrive after this December’s The Book Of Boba Fett, and the subsequent third season of The Mandalorian. Ahsoka-based adventure awaits!
