We're also allowed to come in and talk about how lame we think High Republic is.

No one ever said what you were or weren't *allowed* to do, B.

I was just trying to save you some grief. But if like being miserable, have at it!

What if I gain joy from shitting on the things you love, Joe. Did you ever think of that?

But, to be fair, I also don't know that I love this. The High Republic, I mean.I don't really know anything about it yet.

I certainly don't have an opinion strong enough to be upset at a powerpoint font choice.

I'm sure there's an audiobook version for you to not be interested in.

Seriously, I've found Star Wars books to be largely a bore. I haven't read many, but the only one I can think I liked was Ahsoka. There just doesn't feel like a lot of character driven stories. Feels like "look what I can do with Star Wars!" I don't know. Anyhow, nothing in my Star Wars reading history makes me want to delve deeper into the books.

"Disney" books that B has read:

Aftermath by Chuck Wendig
Bloodline by Claudia Gray
Ahsoka by E.K. Johnston
Aftermath: Life Debt by Chuck Wendig
Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel by James Luceno

:P What? I stopped trolling and actually justified my opinions. Don't I get some credit for that?

That's not really how trolls work, B.

I'd have thought that you of all people would understand that.

A whole lot of people I trust are raving about the first book. Saying it’s brilliant tangible world building with exciting characters.

That’s encouraging.
