It is yeah. Just to the side of the falcon as it drops in to the shot.
Soooooo many ships in that shot. Logistical nightmare to design and finish them all but I kinda wish we’d seen more of them in terms of camera flying in and around and through them all.

I just find it interesting that some sort of Rebel crew is still around then. Could be new people piloting the ship, I suppose, and they just threw it in there for fan service.

Why wouldn’t the whole crew be still around? Jaycen and Hera especially?

I'm not one to burst bubbles, but it might just be the same make and model. It's not 100% The Ghost. However, I think folks involved have hinted at it enough that I think it's fair game for fans to run with it. And I'm with you. I like thinking Hera and Jaycen are on board. Or at the very least, Jaycen.

For all the accusations of fan service of that film it would have cost them nothing to have Hera among the headshots of the different pilots as the fleet arrived. I mean they did wedge and got the actor back ffs

Well, it'd be make-up and digital effects, so not nothing.

Man just talking about this crew again has me all a flutter. I just started rewatching the rebels series. Prequels and era leading up to ANH as the best stories, hands down

I still think the best stories haven't been told yet. I like Rebels well enough. And I think TCW is mostly great (though there's a good bit of fat to tim there). But the stories really sing for me when we get into Jedi/Sith lore. The further we get from that stuff, the less interested I become (in general; though that's not an absolute).
But, yeah, I know a lot of people who agree with you, Ruddo. That era really resonates with a wide range of people.
I should have said that I want to see stories from a era further back, closer to the Jedi origins. I think that era (if we ever get it) will be for me that the prequel era is for you. That's the better way to say it. I think that era will have the best stories.
But as for what we already have? Yeah, I think the prequel era is outstanding. So, I agree. Mostly. Sort of.

I just mean that I really want to dive into th Jedi mythology/history more. Those stories have the potential to be my "Rebels" y'know?
Sadly this high republic stuff on the way isn’t going to be that at all. It’s just super powered space cops. Wait n see. Happy to be wrong when it comes. I want the origins and evolution of the Jedi But what’s coming isn’t that.
I feel like this new High Republic stuff is going to be a test run for other things. I expect it to be mostly a sort of do-over of the larger parts of the PT that people didn't like. But it's going to be closer to the PT stories, I'm guessing, than the kind of stuff I want.
But I'm still really excited to see what it ends up being. I can't wait to read a Star Wars book that launches something new -- not based on a time/place/character we already know. That's really exciting!

They’ve established solidly that the Jedi haven’t faced a threat in a thousand generations or whatever it is. Obi wan is the first Jedi to face and kill a sith in all that time. Where do you go with that then?
I mean, if that's really all it's gonna be then it'll be super disappointing. But just because the Sith haven't been around for a thousand years or whatever, doesn't mean you can't have other meaningful conflict. Imagination is a great thing.

Watched Twin Suns last night. What a beautiful episode. My partner even commented about how beautiful some of the scenes were, like Ezra and Chopper in the desert, and the whole Kenobi/Maul sequence. And I think she usually rolls her eyes at me watching Star Wars cartoons, so that's saying something.
