they worked so hard to bring all those characters back to that place for the climax, and then basically relegated them all to spectators as the consequences of their actions exploded around them.
The rebellion on Ferrix was a product of their composite choices, but once achieved it was its own moment. It didn’t belong to and couldn’t be contained by any of them.
I also like that it holds true to the phrase “everyone has their own rebellion.” For Syril, the Empire is his rebellion. His participation in it…and his devotion to righting what he thinks was a wrong…is his escape from the life he was born into. For Deedra, serving the Empire has meant a layered series of rebellions against a bureaucracy that is unimaginative and self-impressed.
This show would be so much less interesting if it coded characters as flatly as a lot of other shows (and a lot of Disney era Star Wars projects) do.
I’m sometimes a bit frustrated with the second half of this season, but overall still really impressed with this show compared to most of what is out there.

The End credit scene was the best Fucking thing in the whole episode.
What the actual fuck
I just didn’t love it as much as the others. The penultimate and one before promised something else to my mind. I haven’t gotten to watch it again yet. Which I usually do.

Is mon mothma about to throw her husband under the bus? The driver is spying and reporting back and the ISB guy mentions the unusual bank transfers. I hope she throws him under the bus. You can tell that’s one unhappy marriage.

That’s a nice a little twist I didn’t see coming
I know in Clerks they were talking about the second Death Star, but it appears droids, not independent contractors, are doing the actual construction. That’s a nice little twist I didn’t see coming.

That was the impression I got. She knows the driver is a spy and would be listening so she made up the gambling rumor since the husband has a history with it and it would ring true. I'm thinking the plan is the husband will get blamed for the bank stuff and she won't have to marry her daughter off in order to get help from that gangster guy? Forgot his name.

That makes all the sense. Her performance in this was so understated and subtle. Especially that scene with her daughter and the potential husband kid. All looks no dialogue.

"She’s just trying to cover all the tracks. Sculdun originally came in and said, 'Oh, I know your husband.' So, in the end, Sculdun probably thinks that this is really about her husband’s gambling debts," Gilroy explains. "He doesn’t know what the real purposes are. But what I’m saying there is that she’s just covering all the bases."
"If anybody comes looking, if anybody’s wondering why she might be borrowing money or if Sculdun is wondering why she might be borrowing money, she can lay it off on poor Peerin."

That was fantastic, with the highlight being Marva’s recording.
It didn’t end the way I thought it would, with Andor staying on the ship and Luthen sacrificing himself to let him get away. Would’ve been a pretty poetic way to end Luthen. That said, I’m thrilled we get him back for season 2.

Collider reported on Wednesday that Gilroy made the confirmation, telling the outlet he saw the introduction of K-2SO as “one of the responsibilities” of Andor Season 2. “Obviously, if we’re going to walk into Rogue, we have to deal with that,” the writer said.

Question is, will he break with canon when he does it or will it more or less be a straight adaptation?

i'm assuming from this comment his story is fleshed out somewhere else, so what is canon beyond knowing he's a reprogrammed imperial droid?
