That was the original model. It was the first ship seen in the OT. The original design for the Falcon was the first ship seen in the PT.

I saw George Lucas wandering aimlessly around the food court where I was eating lunch about an hour ago.

Is he basically an old man with a charity to run now?

I have no idea, I'm not remotely a Star Wars fan - but I guess I know George Lucas when I see him:

STAR Wars and Indiana Jones creator George Lucas is in Adelaide.

The legendary film director and screenwriter is accompanying his investment fund manager wife as she addresses a superannuation conference at the Convention Centre.

Lucas, 71, married Chicago businesswoman and Dreamworks Animation chair Mellody Hobson — who was the key speaker at today’s Conference of Major Super Funds — three years ago.

Did you hug him, and then kick him in the balls?

There's a bunch of good non-Star Wars ones. My favorite of which ...

I always assumed he was on Dagobah for much longer. The Falcon's hyperdrive was destroyed, so it probably took more than a day to get to Bespin from Hoth; a week? a month? Certainly, they had supplies on the ship (Han and Chewie were just getting ready to leave Hoth), so they'd be able to get there, just at sub-light speed.

Well, they never changed clothes on the Falcon, so I assumed it was just a day.

Well, they probably didn't have a change of clothes for Leia. Chewie is naked. Han likes vests. You see; it works!

THis is awesome Now i wish i had one.

http://www.technobuffalo.com/2016/04/05 ... -with-you/

You’ll never watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens alone thanks to a new feature for Sphero’s BB-8 toy. The amazing droid is now capable of watching along and reacting to the action, thanks to a new update to the toy’s iOS and Android apps.

The Sphero BB-8 is able to recognize audio throughout the film and react as if he’s actually watching along. The droid’s head will move to follow the action, and he’ll become noticeably excited whenever he sees himself on screen. BB-8 will also react appropriately to other characters such as Han Solo and Kylo Ren, either cheering along or cowering in fear.

A small amount of setup is required before you start watching. First, you’ll need to open the smartphone app and select the new “Watch With Me” feature from the main menu. BB-8 should also be placed in his charging dock so he doesn’t accidentally roll off the table in excitement. After that, you’re ready to go.

We hope Sphero has more fun updates planned for BB-8 in the future. I can’t help but wonder how the little droid would react to seeing the original Star Wars trilogy.
