I'm gonna watch that, but ugh ... I don't want to.
The last one was a one-hour behind-the-scenes special stretched out over 4 hours and 2 months.
Agreed. I actually don’t think I ever finished it. The only really cool thing was the one dedicated to that new special effects system they used instead of blue screen. The rest was just nothing but a big circle jerk of them telling each other how great they are.

I’ve caught up on episodes this season. Thoughts...
- The visual effects and production values are amazing for a tv show. This is what George Lucas was trying to get at when he started this on TPM
- With it being a 10 episode season, you have to fill it with a ...uh...filler. A lot of clunky dialogue and repetitive fighting. May have worked better condensed to maybe 5 episodes that focus on one or two threads. Feels like a video game when the NPC needs help with a task in order to get something in return.
- that Krayt dragon episode was crazy. And the aqua port on Trask was incredible. I can’t believe they can do so much with so little.
- the little nods to EU and other stuff is awkward in my opinion. The Easter egg mentality of new Star Wars has never sat well with me. But I guess that’s the direction they take it and if other people enjoy it then that’s cool
- I think maybe Carl’s episode felt the most movie cinematic so far. They’ve all been directed great but it feels like there were a few more movie feels in his.
