The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Another thing I'll say that I think we can all agree on is that this season looked fantastic. The VFX each time around get better and better.
I don't know if they used The Volume that much less or if they're just figuring out how to utilize it better. But either way, I was impressed for the first time with the visuals of this show.

Only the 1st time? I seem to remember since season 1 that most sets were looking amazing

Yeah, that part I didn't expect others to agree with.
I’ve only got praise for the first two seasons. The first season set the bar for the SW tv series, which others have struggled to live up to. The second season is the gold standard.

As much as I enjoy it (and I really do!) I think it's easily the worst of the TV seasons so far. But it was a pioneer and I have a lot of grace for it because of that.

The visual effect that I'm stuck on is the droidsmith walking on the table when they give IG-12 to Grogu. That was some shit puppeteering, and it lives in my brain rent free.

I don’t think any of it looked cheap. But as the series and kenobi went along I could tell the volume of it all sometimes. Didn’t bother me tho.
But Mando season 1 especially has just that vibe down perfect. It felt right. Like a Wild West in space. Think that passed as we grew more familiar and invested in the characters.

This season did look incredible for the most part. I even enjoyed the character/creature design of the divisive pirates. The only thing that didn't work for the Jack Black/Lizzo planet. That looked very "Volumey".

Was thinking about this. Is it cos we’re used to Star Wars looking all beat up and lived in? This place looked kinda fifth element almost. I loved it.
