The shot of the dry cracked mud planet was fantastic. I’m sure Gareth Edwards is gonna sue.
Wish lv was here for this
That's funny because I thought "I wish Gareth was directing this" when I saw that shot. He would have made it look so much cooler and more real. His sense of scale and texture is just beyond.

i liked enough. Yeah, in my first view i thought it looked kinda cheap. Now...its fine, its TV anyway. Guess, ill have to get used to watch these in a much more narrow scope.
Seeing Carl Wheaters and Herzog was amazing though.

Is it true that they are releasing one episode at a time, instead of all at once like Netflix? If that’s the case it sounds like they’ll try to combat people signing up for Disney+ for one month and cancelling after binge watching the episodes.
Or if they go the route “try Disney+ free for x amount of days!”, it will make people stick with it longer to view all the episodes and the free pass will pay for itself (maybe)

Based on what I've seen online I am in the minority but I like the one episode a week model. I like to drag shows I enjoy out as long as possible especially if I have to wait a year or more till the next season. Having shows once a week keeps everyone on the same level and it allows me to go on the internet and not have events from 5 episodes ahead of where I am spoiled. So it works for me. Also if you think about the hype and discussion that happened between episodes of Game Of Thrones I'm sure Disney is hoping one or two of their shows hit like that where even sports talk shows or the local news are discussing this week's episode like they were with Thrones. Cultural zeitgeist or whatever. You don't get that build if you dump 10 episodes out on a Friday.

Team bada. The dump model has its drawbacks, and so far HBO offers the only streaming platform + quality content that creates that week to week tension, which I love. Looks like Disney+ has some great programming lined up, and we’re already in with The Mandalorian + great kids’ programming. Excited to watch them build the Mandalorian world a week at a time.

Hulu releases their original series weekly, as well.

Pen15 and Shrill we’re both dumps. Can’t think of any other original programming I’ve seen on Hulu to add anything further.

Also the new season of Veronica Mars was a dump, I believe.
