Interesting. It will be separate from Rain Johnson's series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is separate from Rian's trilogy and the "Skywalker Saga".

I love A Song Of Ice And Fire (the books), but all in all they have done an amazing job with GOT.

They did an amazing job for about three seasons and then it all went to shit. Not coincidentally, GRRM stopped working on the show right when it started to suck.

Ideally GRRM would have finished the last two books and continued working on GOT. He certainly helps. But for me the second season was still the weakest. Lots of good stuff in later seasons.

Anders gets it.

Guys this is fucking exciting!!!

Could this mean the tv series is gonna be Ewan and Kenobi?

Maybe. But I highly doubt it. I'd fucking love for the show to be an anthology series that can focus on different aspects each new season... but would they do that? Would Ewan? And if yes, would Obi-Wan be the first season?

They said it was to be three standalones. There’s still plenty of time for Obi wan to be announced.
Would a series or film be better? That’s the question.

They are good at doing stuff with long term ramifications. An anthology series would be very different from that. Still is has been great for Fargo.

TV people need to stay away from movies.

Oh, oh, oh! I see what you're saying. Is this D&D project an Obi-Wan series? .... Well that would absolutely destroy me. I can't think of anything that would get me more excited than an Obi-Wan trilogy of films, starring Ewan, written and developed by Dan and Dave. That would be a dream come true.

What if they wrote movies first?
