«Ahsoka episode 5 corrects the mistake of the sequel trilogy by addressing the consequences of Anakin Skywalker's redemption, which was ignored in the Disney movies. The prequels reframed the Skywalker saga to focus on Anakin as the Chosen One, changing the meaning of the original trilogy and making Anakin the central character. Ahsoka explores the post-Return of the Jedi consequences of Darth Vader, addressing the moral quandary of Anakin's legacy and how characters like Ahsoka reconcile their place in the Skywalker saga.»

yeah i liked that article i posted because i agree with it, she deserves a better career
She’ll be ok. It’s extremely fuckin difficult to have a career once you’ve done something so monumental. Elijah wood struggled after LOTR. The Harry Potter guy navigated it brilliantly. I think that’s what she’s doing. It’ll come good for her. She’s fantastic. I love her. She’s clearly a beautiful good soul. It comes off the screen.
It’s hard for me to parse whether the prequel defenders truly believe the prequels are better than the sequels on creative grounds, or if it’s just alt-right trolling. If I recall the dialogue correctly, the backlash’s seeds were planted well before The Force Awakens was even released (when the casting decisions were announced). I have strong doubts that this prequel-reappraisal movement is about aesthetics.
