Ed's been announced as playing the 24th in Nashville so that means this date will be the 23rd (Saturday).

After I decided to go to the Nashville set that voice in my head started rationalizing. The Louisville one is on a Saturday night. You're already driving to Nashville and it's only 2-3 hours further; you could make a weekend of it. Nashville on Sunday would be on the way home so it's not like it's out of the way. You spent more to go to California for one show last year.
So I doubled up. It's only money, right?

A few quick notes from last night.
Ed apparently flew in from Seattle earlier today. Typical Ed solo set in terms of song selection and even though it was a short set it felt rushed and he finished with 6-7 minutes of time left. As you can imagine for at a bourbon festival he was drunk and there were several flubs, Wishlist in particular didn't have a chance and he messed up the second line. Rise was another one. He played mostly acoustic; Sometimes, Wishlist and Patriot were among the few electric songs. He had the crowd sing Happy Birthday to Bruce Springsteen and did a shot one of his long time assistants. He did several shots actual and sipped from a Jim Beam bottle a few times. I like Ed solo shows but this one wouldn't be one that particularly stands out compared to others I have seen.
I fully expect several hung over references in Tennessee tonight. My best guess for the setlist is that Just Breathe and Betterman will get rotated in and I wouldn't be shocked if Jack White joins him at the end. Being a Sunday show it's an earlier start time. The crowd was packed in pretty tight up front and I saw a fight break out right behind me. I was up fairly close but doubt I will make as much of effort tonight; I'll be content to see him on the video screens.
It was summer time hot with temps in low 90s. The two main stages were set up next to each other. An act would play one side while the other went thought set changes. Steve Miller was actually the closer for the night but as you can imagine a good chunk of the crowd after Ed.

From what I read, there was also a fist fight at the merch tent over one of the ten signed posters.

I went to this. Awesome festival. I will probably go every year regardless of the acts. This was the first year it was held, but it looks like it will be around a while. I liked the two stage setup. Saw Gary Clark Jr - > Paul Rodgers - > Joe Bonamossa - > Stevie Nicks last night. One act would finish, and the other would start right away. I liked yesterday much more than I thought I would, and even more than Saturday with Eddie Vedder.

Eddie was average at best. Set was short and Patriot was the only real highlight for me. First time seeing Ed solo show, and I did really enjoy it, but I know I would have enjoyed other solo shows more in a non-festival venue.

Had no idea there was a signed Ten poster, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were fisticuffs. It was a bourbon festival.

Not a Ten signed poster. 10 signed posters. Like he did in Europe.

Oh. Not even bourbon can explain fighting for one of those.
