The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I got tix to this show via the Ten Club but went through the public on-sale process on Friday - not to buy tickets - but just to understand what demand looked like - and thought you might be interested in the results.
I got a pre-sale code to the first LA show and went through the process of waiting in the virtual queue - behind approximately 2,800 other people.
When I got in, it looked like there were plenty of tickets left - at least in the upper seats.
But, when I clicked in further, I found that almost all of the tickets were "premium" - with prices starting at $287 (vs the $170 standard price) (link).
In fact, only the top 5 to 8 rows came with the standard $170 price tag - meaning you could be in the 6th row from the back and still paying "premium" prices.
I checked in on tickets at the end of Friday - and almost all of the available seats were in the very back rows - though there were a select number of single tickets on the floor going for almost $1k.
When I checked again this morning (Monday), almost all of the same tickets (and more?) from Friday were still available. There were still plenty of tickets at face value in the upper rows. If you wanted tickets on the floor, they are about $1k. The lower bowl tickets go for $550 to $723.

Is this Ticketmaster's "dynamic pricing" model at play? Wtf is that all about?
Don't believe we have that in Aus, I am pretty sure the seats/areas are pre-priced before they go on sale and that's what you pay when/if you snag one, doesn't matter what time of the sale or how many seats/spots are left at the time.

Sounds kinda, I dunno...fucked up?
Nope, we have it here in Aus as well. Most of the tickets left to shows here are dynamic premium pricing hovering between AUD$700-1200. I imagine those prices will drop as the gigs get closer but still insane.

Anyone know if there will be official merch for sale the day before the show(today) or day of the show outside the venue?
I've been trying to figure out the same thing, haven't seen any detailed email or post on the website like I saw for Portland.
Related, I may have some extra time depending on what I do in LA on both show days. I don't know who I know is going to these shows but if you want to reach out, the PM box is open.

Are tonight and tomorrow night the only back to back shows of the tour?
MSG is as well

My buddy is at this show and fully expects to see Tim Robbins come out to play bc it’s happened to him twice before. He says he’ll leave if it happens again
