I really only got into Pj for even flow. But I knew then the frames would kick the shit out of them live even or especially now.
Probably why they’re not playing the same day as Pj. But fuck me my dream just came true. My two bands kept me upright and breathing are playing together at last. Finally.
Not gonna lie I been a weepy happy mess since I saw this. I have to go
Don’t Be Shy Far Behind Rise Wishlist Society w/Glen
Earthings band from last night comes out
Drive I’ll Be Waiting Tender Mercies The Haves (new song) My Father’s Daughter w/Olivia Hard Sun Long Way Should I Stay or Should I Go Corduroy I am One Betterman/People Have the Power Precious Give Blood (Pete Townsend) Rocking in the Free World
Give blood was INSANE. one of the best things I’ve ever seen Eddie do. Just incredible.
He’s having so much fun with these bands. He seems reborn
New song was gorgeous. RM will hate it. Ed sounded great. Slow piano and and kind of builds to a full band crescendo. Seems like some very mature song writing from Ed.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion of the reworked Corduroy. It's basically a punked up take on the Bridge '96 version and while a little rough, I think it's the freshest the song has sounded in years. Hopefully PJ gives it a go sometime (but rehearse the shit out of it first)

its a great version, but its hard to top the original. it kinda reminds me of fugazi the way it stops and starts. the bridge version was great with jack on hand drums, but this is still totally different even being the same chords and arrangement.
