The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

are they doing separate 10C GA / public GA for chicago? if so, and you're in 10C section, then honestly even the back of that section is only like 20 people deep (or at least that was the case in MT).

afaik, there is only one ga pit and it is supposed to be all 10c (and, i assume, friends/family/high rollers/the band's kids' teachers/the cubs/bill murray).

in that case, assuming Chicago will have a higher turnout, then I'd try to get in fairly early, maybe between 6-7pm
I fully anticipate the GA section to be filled with a bunch of crazies from the Pit. I want to be close-ish but it probably won't be worth the effort.
Anyone know of good places in the area to grab some drinks beforehand?
Unfortunately, Wrigleyville has turned into something of a corporate amusement park in the last several years. You're probably better off going a little further if you want somewhere good.
That being said, Yak-zies is right there and has great wings.

I haven't been to the area since 2010. That sucks to hear.

go to Corridor on Southport. Some of the best hazy IPA/NEIPA's you'll ever have. and the food is good too.
it can get crowded though, so go early. we'll be there around 4.
