it's not worth the 3-4 hour wait on a saturday afternoon, that's for sure. kuma's corner is just as good.

but be careful, them's fightin' words to some folks around here. and only matt's bar omits the 'i' in juicy lucy.

best advice is to try as many as you can and make your own choice. there will never be a consensus.

shamrock's is a bar about a mile south from the xcel center on west 7th (and is right on a bus line stop so easy access to/from the venue) that is the sister location to the nook and has much of the same menu, including the nook version of the lucy. many of the west 7th restaurants right near the venue like burger moes and mcgoverns will be absolutely packed so shamrock's might be an appealing option to some.

Shamrocks is a weird spot though. Feels like a cafeteria or something. At least compared to the Nook. Book a bowling lane at the nook too

I'm looking forward to traveling to St. Paul for a cheeseburger and to see Strat's show. Maybe I will see Pearl Jam, too.

I would be happy to buy a cheap digital scale and I could bring it to the bar for live RMer weigh-ins before the concert. We could then calculate BMIs and add them in realtime to the weight loss thread before the show.

Happy to try and bring in the scale to the venue too and see if I can weigh a Pearl Jam member or two, too.

This looks like it's turning into the full on wishlist event. Us and another band. 90's cover band.

I've always tried to avoid that event. Went to one before Msg in 2016 finally.

Jamily galore.

But I can enjoy myself if I'm the entertainment !

Will let everyone know once it's finalized

OK, I am looking to fly in from Boston on Friday, Sept. 1.

Can you guys recommend a good hotel that is close to the airport and Excel Energy stadium?
