Oceans is a bad opener because Eddie can't sing it anymore, Nothing as it Seems is a decent song but a horrible choice to play second that would kill the show before it even starts. Go->In Hiding is a great run but then I Am Mine and Green Disease are probably two of my bottom 10 Pearl Jam songs played in a row. Then seriously, You Are, Satan's bed, Cant' deny me, mankind, whipping, lukin all in a row? Ouch....Good first encore though.

Still dunno what you guys are raving about from reading this setlist

I only mostly lurk but I've seen enough of these type of posts from you.......this schtick is lame.

This does sound good. It's still possible for the US shows given that Let Me Sleep was played 3 times (including Wrigley) two years ago.

Sounds a lot better than that other awful time they tried it on this tour, probably largely because this time they played it in the original key.

I really have no idea why they occasionally persist with trying songs in lower keys when it just seems to confuse everybody and sound terrible.

yea, not everything works when dropped down.

older songs are one thing, but it's annoying that they (eddie, probably) insist on recording songs in keys that eddie can't sing live. come on man.. accept reality and adjust

Has anyone bothered to ask him to draft his perfect setlist? Would be interested.

Its sad that I dont have elderly woman in there thats the only thing that makes it incomplete except I cant find a place to stick it :(. I thought about the beginning of Encore 2 but I like my Encore 2 and I don't want to touch it. I also threw around the idea of Release as the beginning of encore 2 before parachutes but idk, that makes encore 2 too long.

Ugh I'd SO love to find a place for Release or Elderly Wonan, two of my top 5 songs. MAYBE the beginning of encore 2 but I feel it weakens a strong encore.

Rats, brain of J, and In Hiding are some others I wish I could stick on. Low light is another good one. Out of rarities I like johnny guitar and thin air. I like thumbing my way. I like sometimes. I like rival. Honestly I like most of the first three albums but I feel the setlist is very strong as is.

Listened to this show today and it was much better than I remembered.

Maybe it's just been too long since I listened to modern Pearl Jam or something but I really enjoyed it.

I didn't make it to the last encore so, who knows, maybe it all fell to shit at that point.

This Oceans was one of the better recent ones but I'm pretty sure it's still drop-tuned slightly.

At this point I'd rather hear a half-assed Eddie in the right key than some of the drop-tuned sludge they've served up in the last decade.
