Welcome back to the (?) iteration of Red Mosquito

Eventually we'll have a thread index back up for the current board. In the meantime we have new threads with links to their old threads for the following (please use these rather than starting new ones):

1. Every SOTM thread (there should be a thread for every song, so please don't start a new one without checking. they are listed by title, rather than the lyric)
2. the guided tour threads
3. the general album discussion threads (plus Lo2L, LoXL, into the wild, uke songs, PJ 20 film, PJ 20 soundtrack, and RVM)
4. The lets actually listen' threads
5. The 'you never forget your first time' threads
6. The major flaw in each album thread

Plus the random reference, pearl jam bitching, new albums rumors, and post a video threads are stickied.

As threads are bumped I'll start putting up polls, importing in lead posts from the SOTM threads, etc.

If you are creating a new thread that is an extension of an old board thread and are ambitious enough to post a link to the previous thread that would be great.

If you are migrating from the old board please do not steal old usernames

I started updating the Index. As I finish each section, I'll put a red "Updated for RM3" next to it. I'll delete them and give the Index its own thread when I'm done.

When we are in the 'Pearl Jam' forum, we can't see the Live, Tour, and Trading Forums up top like we used to. Will that be fixed?

i'd hope so. I'll pass it along to the admins

It looks like they were set up as separate forums, instead of subforums inside pearl jam chat. Should be a pretty easy fix so B will never do it.

this board has been up for about a week and this is already old, chud

they won't be fixed. this was a deliberate decision to make those forums more prominent.

If that's the case, can we make GD less prominent?

That actually isn't a bad idea. Most of the best GD posts of the last year or two have occurred in Tech Support anyway.

Also, just so it is clear for any "new" users, Private Messages are called that for a reason. The sharing of PM's in the public forums is a bannable offense. Most of you already know this but we have been called out for not including it in the new rules. So there you have it. Don't share PM's.

If any of you have a problem with that, PM me. I'll ban you.
