The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

Bumping this post from last year. I've still got all these shows but no one seems interested in them. I'd originally wanted to move them to someone in Ireland as i could hand them over without posting but no takers from there. They're still all gathering dust in my attic so if there's any UK'ers here i'll send them for the cost of postage and packing. If there's no interest from any UK folks after a while, i'll open it up to worldwide.
Cheers, Kev.
Original Post:
I used to do a lot of CD/DVD/VCD trading on this board and others years ago. Tried to log in under my old account details but unsurprisingly they no longer work! Was the board refreshed at some point?
Well anyway, to the point as to why i've re-registered! I no longer do any trading and my collection is sitting feeling unloved and unwanted. I'm moving house so i'm getting rid of a lot of stuff that i've not touched in years, and as much as i loved collecting live shows at the time, i don't have the time for it any more. I feel that other people would get more enjoyment out of it than it just sitting here gathering dust.
I'd idealy like to move the discs on to someone, for free of course, in Northern Ireland/Ireland as i'm based in Belfast and don't want to go through the hassle of posting loads of parcels out again (free time is much more precious to me now than what it was 10 or so years ago when i was trading and B&Ping!). But if there's no interest locally, i'll think about sending to mainland UK or further afield as long as the p&p is paid for.
All the DVDs i have were in DVD boxes with cover art downloaded from here and other places and printed on photo paper so they look quite spectacluar on the shelf. I've removed all the discs and covers from the DVD cases though so you'll just be getting the discs and covers.
I'll try and get some photos taken this evening so you can see what they look like.
My old trading list is below, but it's not a list of everything that i'm getting rid of. It was in 2007 that i last updated the page and i continued collecting for a while after that. Also a lot of the audio listed on that page are in cd wallets that i've yet to find, but if i find them i'll be getting rid of them too.

Yes, we started a new board in Jan 2013, everyone had to re-register.
Also, nice offer!
Thanks
The trading forum looks a bit deader than i remember it! I take it that with the advent of high-speed broadband and downloadable high quality shows that the old mail route for trading has taken a bit of a hit.
Hope someone wants my stuff, i found about 40 more DVDs from random bands last night!

Yes, the combination of technology, impatience and greed (among other things) has taken its toll, but there are still people sharing by mail. I, too, hope someone close to you takes you up on this offer- thinking of all of the work that went into what you have it's sad to think of the possibility of it hitting a landfill while it's still useful to someone.

If it turns out that nobody wants them, they'll never go into a landfill, i'd rather they sat in the back of a wardrobe than be just thrown out. As you say, too much work went into getting them in the first place just to get rid of them.
I remember the "good old days" of trading and B&P's on this board when all the spots in an offer were taken up in hours or for the rare shows minutes! Very different picture now it seems!

Not sure if I miss it or not...fairly certain Jerry the mailman doesn't miss it!
Great pics! Yeah, i def miss it. There was a certain excitement when you received a parcel from the other side of the world. Downloading just doesn't give that same thrill, and this is coming from someone who's an I.T. manger for my job and should like technology!
