Initial thoughts on the 06 mix:

Wow, you were right about the SFIII versions of Release and Sad. Wow.

There was no neutered Garden worth including, eh? Hehe.

That occurred to me after I finished the set. I totally forgot it existed. Oh well. Disc 2 was originally going to close with "Porch" from the first Milwaukee show but I decided to go with RITFW instead because it felt more right for some reason.

Great sense of pace on these 06 discs. I like the LO2L approach of a solid condensed 70-80min show :nice:

Immortality - the fastest Matt drum outro ever! Sounds great.
Daughter - my favourite post 2000 It's Ok tag - nice pick
SFIII - a lot of picks from this show (and deservedly so)! Probably the tightest the band was all tour :nice:

I keep checking this thread in hopes that you have gotten back to it, but it seems the 12 days are frozen like my nutsack in this -5 degree cold

My upload speed is more frozen than your nutsack. That's part of why I had to stop - it was taking forever to torrent anything. I have a list of things I would like to upload, such as a Weezer tape from 2000, a Soundgarden bootleg mixtape and a Foo Fighters bootleg from 1995 that I haven't seen out there.

Actually, I'm about to upload my masterpiece - a 7 disc Smashing Pumpkins bootleg mix. I'll share a tracklist and then upload link sometime in the next 48 - 72 hours. :)

You deserve significant commendation, good sir. I will wait till the candle burns up my arm for these types of goodies.

My nut sack is finally thawed, although, as the water pipes in my house thawed, one of them busted last night. Arrgggh....

ARCADE FIRE
Bootleg Mixtape 2005 - 2013

Sources: Miscellaneous
Time: 79:57
Quality: Good to Excellent

Setlist:
1. Wake Up [Live on XFM UK, 3-07-2005]
2. In the Backseat [Live on XFM UK, 3-07-2005]
3. My Heart is an Apple [Berlin, 5-20-2005]
4. Vampire / Forest Fire [Live on KCRW-FM, 1-17-2005]
5. Intervention [Live on KCRW-FM, 1-17-2005]

7. Sleeping in a Submarine [Lollapalooza, 7-24-2005]
8. Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) [White Session, France, 3-09-2005]
9. Rebellion (Lies) [White Session, France, 3-09-2005]
10. Keep the Car Running [Live on BBC-FM, 6-29-2007]
11. Neon Bible [Live on BBC-FM, 6-29-2007]
12. Surf City Eastern Block [Melbourne, 1-30-2008]
13. Suburban War [Bologna, 9-02-2010]
14. Normal Person [live on NPR, 10-28-2013]
15. Here Comes the Night Time [live on NPR, 10-28-2013]
16. The Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) [live on NPR, 10-28-2013]

Notes: Culled from my Arcade Fire collection, this disc represents a different look at Arcade Fire's career from their beginnings to now. This is as good a compilation as you will find in lossless format. I tried to mix up standards like "Wake Up" with obscure tracks like "Surf City Eastern Block" (a seldom-played Neon Bible b-side). The only downside to this disc is that it is absent some of the really obscure AF stuff out there that only exists in mp3, like the 2001 demos or the live recording of "Cars and Telephones". Hopefully somebody will surface lossless copies of those one day. Until then, enjoy this!

Missing "My Body Is A Cage" from the Easter Sunday show in Chicago (night 3 of 4) at the UIC Pavilion on the Suburbs tour, XRT broadcast. There are 3 versions of this broadcast circulating I believe, one that was pulled straight from the webcast (bad), one that was pulled lossy from from analog radio broadcast (better but clipped), and one that's a straight analog>FLAC rip done with decent equipment (great, the one I have, and seemed to be distributed less because as you know Arcade Fire fans don't care about bootleg quality and this was the last to surface - look for "Onkyo" in the lineage).

Of course, you could say it was missing "Suburban War" from the next night, but I'm guessing Bologna is SBD, and I don't think a tape is circulating (certainly not from me as I didn't tape).

Also, even though I'm sad the quality is not as good as it should be, I'm happy that my Weezer show from 2000, the first digitally taped show I ever made (CSB > MiniDisc), will be back in circulation, as it seems to have completely disappeared. I still have the original MD's and even a MD deck, but nothing that takes lossless optical input to transfer the lossy source files in a lossless way (transferring original MD's without an additional D>A>D step is very challenging to accomplish).

Maybe you should throw my March '01 tapes into the same torrent if you hadn't intended in doing so? For those unaware, that was when I was rocking my first set of Sonic Studios (DSM-6L's) fed into an Oade-modified PCM-M10 DAT, so state-of-the-art for a stealth rig at the time. That pre-Green release tour was the last gasp of Weezer as a decent band, IMO, even though that tour was less good than the 2k tour. Sponsored by Yahoo.com!

I don't have those tapes anymore, sadly. Oh, and about "My Body Is A Cage" - it just didn't fit. And even though I love that song, it doesn't really fit with the rest of their stuff - it's just really, really, really bleak.
