Man the Pit is a mess. The first page has about ten threads on "ticket strategey". Also, there is an actual thread about why some people aren't seeing the $1 pending hold on their bank/credit statement prior to the drawing.

Now there are threads over there with people saying the original email said the lottery stayed open until tomorrow at 10 a.m. but that every email and post after that said today. So, naturally, there's someone who booked a flight and hotel in Seattle and Montana, but did not get name into the lottery, even though it has been open for 5 days.

How long does the draw generally take?

Going to a Pearl Jam show sure seems complicated. Is this what it's like for every stadium/arena-level band?

most other bands just use ticketmaster, get bought up by scalpers with bots, then you have to buy secondhand.

It's not that hard to get non-10c Pearl Jam tickets. And it's not that hard to get tickets to other bands.

Yup. For as much as you can get boned in the lottery, at least we have realistic shots at tickets.
