The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

I suddenly got a lot more excited about these 2018 dates if they are actually going to play new stuff.
Maybe? I went into my first LB show cold, without having heard the album yet, and it was kinda weird. If they sprinkle in new stuff, like 2 or 3 a show, it will work. Otherwise the momentum will be way off.

This must be one of the longest periods without a regular Pearl Jam concert ever.
AUG 22 2016 Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field, Chicago, IL, USA (APR 7 2017 Pearl Jam at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony #32) MAR 13 2018 Pearl Jam at Movistar Arena, Santiago, Chile
And about that no US arena tour until after album release...
With our wallets we cried... NO MORE...

I wish I had more confidence that the new stuff would be any good, but since I don't, I feel the exact opposite
If it means less Lightning Bolt and Backspacer, I'm in.
there wasn't exactly a lot of LB and BS anyway...and I have a bad feeling the stuff I'd really like to see go (Sirens, MYM, Just Breathe, Unthought Known), will never go anywhere anyway

I enjoy UK live and hope they continue playing it. /rant

I bet Sirens and MYM are played far less often.
As cheesy as it is, Sirens seems to have a personal thing for Ed, it's not hard on his voice, it gives Mike a chance to shine a bit...it'll be played less often but I'm willing to bet it's still played every 2-3 shows on average

So basically they knew it right away, they waited till Pinkpop went on sale, but then had to postpone due to disappointing ticket sales for that one (shitty line up if ever) and then went ahead anyway.
