My nightly 'ugh stone sucks' moment comes from his sloppy playing on the intro of Daughter.

What sucks about Stone's playing here?

How is it sloppy?

He plays it fine, in much the same way as he always does.

Most people here seem to think 03 is amazing. I'd say its pretty good, they brought a lot of old songs back.

You can't tell? It sounds awful/amateur. The chord voicing is terrible. You can barely hear the upper notes of the chords which are actually the most important ones as they're the ones that are moving. Its thin and weak sounding completely uneven and only half the notes are coming out and when Eddie comes in it gets worse. And IMO it gets a bit sluggish at times

But really I love the intro to Daughter and to hear such a weak rendition of it makes me sigh

Its honestly the same feeling I get though whenever they try to play Black or Ledbetter live. I know the latter is Mike. The both of them always butcher those intros and make it choppy sluggish and poorly voiced

I. Hate. The. Way. Stone. Plays. Acoustic. Songs.

he just bangs them out!

On small town now. Youd expect a ONE two three ONE two three. But he just bangs ONE! TWO! THREE! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Its like he has a metal arm and no rhythm

All or None is such a good song. Maybe the best on the middle albums

I always get the sense that Mike mcCready thinks he's better at playing the synth part of Baba O Riley than he really is

You know I feel like the whole band really thinks they're better at this song than they are, but IMO the worst of it is mccready, who also...his take on the solo is just not as good as the actual solo.

I feel like Pearl Jam's Baba O Riley cover is one you like after hearing a bunch of times because it's such a good song and you get to used to what they do poorly

But like the first time you ever hear it and youre taking the cover for what it is youre like OMG that was horrible

Wow thats it.

Setlist: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/pearl-ja ... 62178.html

No second encore.

Do people like riot if PJ just doesnt do a second encore? Id be pretty mad.

Good main set but really needed two nice encores
