How do the Mansfield boots sound? I've listened to probably 10-15 shows on this tour but never the Mansfield shows.

Night 1 = Excellent
Night 2 = Good
Night 3 = At times incredible, at times good, at times shit

That's pretty accurate. The acoustic set from night 3 is fantastic.

I thought I was the only one!

Actually, the best version of "Cropduster" I've ever heard is from 2011, if you can believe it. Wendy Carlos, You should give the South American shows a listen if you haven't already - the first two are shit but the seven that follow are arguably the best the band has played since 2006.

"Cropduster" is one of PJ's finest songs and the Sydney version is flawless. It's a no-brainer for any 2003 mix, but that's just me....

The music is disjointed and the lyrics are almost a direct ripoff of Ishmael. But that's just me...

The music is beautifully crafted. It's only disjointed if you don't know what you're listening to - which you don't.

"Cropduster" is a classy piece of songwriting.

I remember when people over at the pit complained that Champaign had to many covers in the encores back in 2003. The pearl jam live problems were so simple back then...

You just love disagreeing with people, don't you? I've warmed up to "Cropduster" a bit over the years but it will never be my favorite Pearl Jam song. People can like different songs, right? I'm sure I like "Gonna See My Friend" a lot more than most people here.

The amount of covers in some of those 2003 encores is insane.

I liked the Philly version of "Gonna See My Friend" a lot. That wound up in a movie, didn't it?

I don't know if it's the one from philly 3, but that is the best version they ever played.
