But there's a reason they're holding those back!

They're designing a prettier box so they can charge a lot more for them.

I'd hoping the 2013 show is included, but I think a DVD / BluRay is more likely.

Holding boots back in order to make DVD's out of them would be an unprecedented move for them -- Touring Band 2K, Live at the Garden, and the 2006 Italy DVD were all sourced from available shows. I think a box set is most likely, similar to the Gorge set, incorporating the shows from both years, perhaps for a more widespread commercial release. Probably packaged with more Pearl Jam trading cards featuring each band member in a custom Cubs jersey, with a replica jersey included with each set, justifying the $200 price tag.

Yeah but think of how much you can flip it for in 5 years time!

I am curious what has someone thinking a show is tight and another thinking the same show was riddled with errors. Seems like whether they botch a chord change or blow some lyrics is one of the more objective units of criticism out there. Just different thresholds?

Ed's voice too. I often see differing opinions of when Ed sounds good.

I'm amazed people keep saying he sounds good this tour. To my ears he's never sounded worse.

Almost agree. Ed still hold tight voice when he needs shout or in the strongest part of songs (better in the main set than encores) but sadly I had to recognize than has great lack of air to modulate best melodies

While years past he abuse some tricks that becomes obvious last years

Evolution of voice can be resumed in Angel song performance last year if you compare with the previous one at 1994. One of the most beautiful songs in terms of vocals and magical interpretation twenty years ago I could not end 2016 "cover"

1994-2003 Eddie was God mode
2006 still keeps magic
2007-today decrease the air he keeps in his lungs. 2015 Santiago + BA was a illusion

They played State of Love and Trust in a lower key at Boston 1 (first time for that one, I think) and it sounds kind of...good?

I am guessing whatever Chicago box set there releasing will include the first show and the warm up too.

Yeah, it might be the best version they played in a while. Pemberton and telluride are great shows

Very solid, much tighter than usual - I may have to rethink my definitive version nomination.

Everyone is gonna say you gotta use the version with jack white. It's not that great. It's good but that's it

I really like it but the sound quality is obviously not that great. Looking forward to seeing your full nomination list

Skipping around listening to some songs from Pemberton, Ed seriously sounds good here, wtf.

It was a letdown.

In person, OTE was awesome at Wrigley - possibly the highlight of the weekend. I can't wait to hear it again.

The fact I've not gotten OTE or Hold On yet makes me hate Pearl Jam a little bit.
