The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
say what you want about these guys.. and I've criticized them plenty myself over the last few years.. but good christ that was an incredible show.
maybe it wasn't the best technically, and yea there were plenty of hits, but the energy in there was off the charts. at least where I was.
sell all the fucking scarves and dog collars you want guys. make all the subpar albums you feel you need to, but just keep delivering like that and all is forgiven.
#1 he paid for his ticket, he can enjoy the show however he likes. He's not ruining it for anyone else.
#2 he's not really posting from the show because he's not really there because he's not really real.
#3 if "he" (not Mike Jasonda but any figurative he) was right in front of me and holding his phone up to film the whole time, blocking my view, then part B of #1 above is no longer true, and Bammer's getting frustrated.
Luckily I was in literally the last row of the entire arena
This band is amazing. Going to a show is like waking up on Christmas morning and finding 35 presents under the tree just for you. 4 or 5 pairs of socks, but the other 30 gifts are just what you'd been dreaming of. I'm thinking night 2 will have more rare songs and be hailed for that, but this was the kind of set that a band could walk away forever after. So many 5 star songs.
Take it to the streets.
I loved that cover. It was fun. I don't get why people lose their shit over everyday people, but this somehow embarrassing. I smiled like a daft twat the whole time.
I only knew the chorus. There are many worse covers than that.
Can we get a list please
That's s long list.

I could live with an S/T run tonight if it's the anniversary.
Please, no.
Not only was it done before, when that album was fresh and topical, but it would kill the momentum of any show. Everything after Marker would drain the fan club and the casual fans would go hang out at the bar.

Playing any of these albums in a row post Yield would kill the momentum of a show unless people get swept up in the gimmick, but I think the newer material goes over better than people think

I agree that at least LB goes over better than I thought it would, especial with the under 30 crowd. The thing about Avacado is that it's to old to be new material and not good enough to be a classic Pearl Jam album. Vitalogy is the only album left that would make sense front to back.

That's the only album I would really want to get front to back since they did Ten and Vs. I'm way more concerned about the overall flow and feel of a show that I'm at than any particular sequence of songs.
