Because none of it was sold in New Orleans.

I actually kind of like the idea of SOLAT as an opener.

Yeah. That'd be interesting. Arms Aloft though. It is not a good cover.

Why do they play Of The Earth at festivals.

I'm all for the band playing Of The Earth whenever.

What's with the "In New Orleans" parenthetical? They change the lyrics or something?

It works as a replacement for the original "Aberdeen" so I presume so.

a friend in New Orleans must love Inside Job. They played that at Voodoo and couple years back.

Okay im intersted to hear chad smith on RTIFW. I hate camerons drumming on that.

Also, arms aloft second. What is the deal with that? They did it at pj20 and it fucking killed the mood.

Great set though!

Post subject:  Re: 2016-04-23: New Orleans, Louisiana

I've listened to a bit on Periscope, Chad's playing it slower and groovier than Matt. It's good. Nathan Followill from Kings of Leon on tamborine too.

I think part of the reason I imagine Arms Aloft was such a mood killer at PJ20 is that people's expectations were through the roof because of the occasion, only time they've ever done a celebratory anniversary concert etc.

I really wouldn't complain if all the band's sets were around that length, I think that's just right.
