That distortion on the vocal tracks is painful, it pretty much ruins this series of bootlegs. What a fucking blunder. I don't really get how it could've happened either. Why just the vocal tracks? Why at every show, did nobody twig after it happened once? |

Which means his mic was running through the same board as all the other mics, and into the same A/D converters. I think somebody had the A/D converter set wrong for his mic track, and they didn't catch it until it was too late. |

Completely unforgivable in a professional setting for it to happen twice. Some one dropped the ball. |

Taking a quick listen to the samples and it seems as though Bogota is free of vocal distortion - I may actually buy this one. |

Great story alert: borrowed my father-in-law's car today and he has Sirius, so guess who dialed up ol' channel 22. When I did, I was greeted with "Hard to Imagine" from 11/11/15 in Porto Alegre. Was struck by how good Ed sounded, especially on "things were different then...". It's a register that still really works for him, after all these years. Paging user Release_Me to discuss what notes he hits there and why it's good. Anyway, thought the band sounded fantastic on that track. Now someone answer hlniv's question for Christ's sake. |
