Had the pleasure to listen to these broadcasts live back in the day on radio, taping to cassette. Best thing they ever did.

This one by just a hair. Ed's guitar tone on Self-Pollution Radio is one of my favorite things ever. So heavy, and fuzzy...mmm...

I would give the slight edge to Monkeywrench, just because I'm such a sucker for that '98 voice (and the "Yield" material). Great as some of those '95 shows are, I always felt like there was a sort of undisciplined quality to Ed's voice during that era, especially compared to its pitch-perfect intensity at the Spring '94 gigs. By '96 it started to evolve into something marginally new unto itself -- something easier, more restrained, but wiser and better-conditioned -- which hit its ultimate stride in '98.

Of course, JWB's remaster solves the problem of having to choose, as you can hear both stellar shows on one single disc. Do not miss.

Man alive this shit still turns my crank. Not one bad performance. band sounds so solid. I loved them when they had the feel of a garage band.

Im hoping, so much, that they release some sort of Vid Documentary on the 98 series. Would love to see how that all went down.

Pj was so fucking cool. Best house party ever? Probably.

Does anywhere know where one can find the entire self pollution broadcast, including Soundgarden, etc?
