It's crazy that Portland 13 is ranked higher than your Spectrum show. Crazy.
I hated that Spectrum show. I hated the crowd, I hated the setlist, I hated how drunk Ed was and I hated the city. I had a lot more fun at the Portland show last fall than I had at the Spectrum, and with the added benefit that I could take the bus home and be back by midnight without legions of drunken assholes from New Jersey hailing cabs while wandering out into traffic. And I liked the setlist better. And Ed sounded a hell of a lot better, which is almost inexplicable.
did your dog die while you were in philly or something?

No, I just hated everything about that weekend other than the fact I got to spend it with my best friend. Philadelphia might be the anti-Portland. It would have been okay had I liked the show, but man...I really hated that show.
We've been to a lot of the same shows. I'm surprised you have 6/19/08 so low. I thought that was one of the better 08 shows. Also surprised about 5-28-06.

Yeah, now that I think about it a bit more, it probably was my least favorite pre-2006 show I saw. I'd take it over most of the shows I've seen since then though.

after lookin at the setlists again, im pretty sure i mixed up my 2008 shows. 2008 and 2006 were both kinda hard for me, it seemed like they were super consistent, but nothing stuck out, like jay z coming on stage or playing rockin in the free world in the middle of the main set b/c fire works were going off. its also personal stuff, eddie vedder gave me his pick on 9/2/00, im pretty sure thats always gonna be #1.

5-27-06 featured the convict Last Kiss. Worst Last Kiss ever. Just sayin'.

Oh man. I was at that one. It wasn't even that Last Kiss was any worse than it normally is, it was that 15 minute speech Ed gave coming right off of the first encore break. By the time they started the song, they hadn't played any music in like 20 minutes.

I think my bottom five would probably be Wrigley, Tampa 08, West Palm Beach 08, DC 10, and maybe that 06 Camden show. I wasn't really impressed with either of the Chicago shows in 2009, now that I think about it.

This reminds me of how I felt about the 2014 Adelaide show, I've had more enjoyable days at work. I still wish I hadn't gone.
The band's performance was actually relatively good, it's one of the stronger shows from the festival run, but it was a terrible day. Horrendous weather, shitty bands and some awful Pearl Jam fans. Bad times.

Surprised to see you have O2 09 ahead of Syd 98 - must have been great in person. Then again, I do glorify the 98 Aus tour since my proper fandom started just after it was over
Here's my list - the top three are neck-n-neck, Ed playing my request at Melb III just edges out the others.

Man, I really love the 2006 tour. All three of those Melbourne shows are great.
