That was fun; my three show run this tour is over. I'll write up more later but this was Pearl Jam #50 for me (not counting Ed solo appearances). I'd see them again tomorrow if I could.
Awesome poster. Lines were stupid, even to pick up tix.
Great fan club seats, Stone's side, reserved.
Still love pendulum as opener. Ed sick was hardly noticeable, but he did disappear to the side a few times to take a breather. He told a story about meeting his current wife that was pretty funny. Mike and Boom during Crazy Mary was an intense jam. Mike ran laps around the stage during STBC. Ed took a phone from audience during GTF. Wish list had an extended outtro improv. I forget, but there was another improv? Before one of the earlier songs. RVM was awesome. Crowd was into the entire show and the band seemed to thrive on that. Jeff got a Lyftco? tee from the crowd. Wine was passed during crazy Mary... Although early in show Ed said something to the effect "I'm sick... But it's not Ebola, so if some wine gets passed around, you guys get your own bottle. Plus, I'm legally obligated to tell you that". There were two or three song dedications. If I think of more I'll post.

Enjoyed this show a bunch with my wife. Great crowd (I was wowed by the Breath singalong in particular). I caught some of the improv (can't remember when it was) but my phone ran out of space...
Before the show, I idiotically left my phone in the car with my wife and couldn't call her to meet up... really thankful to the guy who let me borrow his phone to call her and coordinate (we made it to our seats just before the show). He was genuinely happy to help out... long shot but just in case he's reading, thank you!!
No, NAIS was not acoustic. Ed being sick was hardly noticeable. He had to blow his nose on stage a few times.
Was there a "seated encore" ala the earlier LB tour shows?
2nd encore I guess could be considered a "seated encore" Ed, Jeff, and Mat were the only ones seated though. Stone declined to set and Mike set in his seat for maybe a minute and was back up rocking.

My seats were across from the stage in the upper level. They were horrible but the band seemed much further away since it's a bigger arena than the ones in Lincoln & Tulsa. I took a few pictures & will post a couple of the better ones tonight. Another good crowd, not a sellout but those who were there were excited to be there. A well played setlist. I haven't seen anyone complaining about their selection this tour with a generous helping of lesser played songs to mix in with the usuals. Mike told a story how when he & Matt went to Sun Studio they were told the drummer for Pearl Jam was there yesterday. That drummer was Dave K, and I wondered if that story would have been brought up if the drummer was Dave A. And Ed followed with a bit of how he was supposedly in a San Diego bar and being a dick. The improv was short but cool, was it just guitar? I don't remember a drum beat. Didn't Wishlist have an extended ending too? I thought Ed sounded congested at times; it was especially noticable to me during Black. It may be more obvious on the boot. Great location for a major venue, at the corner of Beale St and an easy walk to the major Memphis hotels. Stopped by The Peabody for a nightcap. Cool downtown too with lots of history in the area, I wouldn't mind going back for a weekend.
