I had 3 coked up assholes who kept their arms up in front. A couple next to me who spilled at least 2 full drinks - every time they jumped, they splashed my legs. A fat woman with body odor on the other side. A loud talker / singer who sang out of key behind.
So what you're saying is: You were in Oklahoma.
This is so true hahahaha

Fun show, solid but nothing out of the ordinary. I was surprised too how varied the setlist was early before they settled into their usual standards. Which is fine with me, I still like most of the hits & it was in a city they've never played before in a part of the country they rarely visit. Marker in Sand completes Pearl Jam for me live. They've been playing the hell out of Jeremy lately but it never fails to get the audience. When it's an unusually good version it's one of songs that catch me thinking "Holy Shit, I'm seeing Pearl Jam live". I thought Ed was fine on Blood but the bootleg will be the judge on that. The sound from where I was sitting was really good. And they were having a good night musically; they were on game and I didn't catch anything that stood out as a glaring mistake. I'm sure I'll get the boot, if for other reason than I was there. The lights went dark at 8:07, earlier than I was expecting. A few pictures:
My poster tube got dented by the USPS. Grrrr... My first damaged poster. I bought insurance, but I'm not sure if I would need to relinquish the item to get the insurance money. I'd rather a dinged poster rather than no poster.
Also, this poster was on much thinner stock than usual Ames posters.

Isn't it like almost 99% definite that they will sell these on the band's website once the tour is over? Maybe just take the money and use it to buy it again in 2-3 months?

Of course he knew all the words. His parents are Pearl Jam fans.
I actually know him and his parents. They're all super cool. He's a huge PJ fan and Who fan. He plays the Uke too. Awesome kid. They used to live down the street from me till this past summer. We were all camped out for this show. Great experience and great show.
