First off, guys and gals! I can't say enought about my new Lowlight79 thread!
I felt it was about time on this board that I started a thread where I can throw my thoughts around, get past mixes up and let everyone come on in, sit down and give me their bootleg thoughts, requests, recommendations or any questions. A thread where I can link stuff i've worked on and stuff the Ridley has graciously helped me on since my time has been quite limited as I am getting married in the fall. Also thread to throw up bootleg reviews.
First, I am in the process of ripping all the mixes I made in 2000, there are 3 of them. one of them is ready. The two others are in the process as the discs I am extracting them from are not in the greatest shape and are going to be trasnferred carefully to Flac and probably fixed too. I recently found them up in box of my mother's attic, buried with some other goodies.
Second, Sometime in the next few months I plan on revisting the 2003 mix I made and updating it. I was never quite happy with some of the selections I made back some 10 years ago and think there is a way to make it even better with people lately longing for some early 2000 pearl jam.
Third, At some point later this year. Work will commence on the getaway mix which will cover 2011-2014. I plan on making the cutoff after any potential U.S dates this late summer/early fall. Stay Tuned!
This thing was riddled with sector boundary errors which I have now fixed, so I'd recommend anyone who downloaded this the first time around to update with this version
Here is the mix I made of leg 1 off the 2000 tour. The set lists is based on songs I picked from various shows in the order of the shows from the first to last. I was a little more adventurous 13 years ago.
Here is a link for my 2000 NA Leg 2 mix. It is similar to the first link I posted a few days ago. I did some patching up to it as in certain parts made my brain crawl.
At some point over the next few days, I will be posting the link for the 2000 eurotour mix I made. The first mix I ever made! I can't take all the credit for it as it was made by me and my friend Dominic at the time. But he laid the groudn for future mixes. Just gonna go over it and see if anything needs fixing.
Fixing up the 2003 mix beings next week which will lead to work later this year on the getaway mix.
