The Real Me got cut from the Leeds official boot? I just realized this... Wonder why?

Certainly not complaining.

The Real Me is a lot better than most are giving it credit around here.

Agreed. I think it's one of their better covers.

I think so too.

Love Reign O'er Me on the other hand...

I spent a lot of time this week reviewing 2011 tracks. I believe I found some very powerful tracks. This one is gonna have some punch to it.

I've been wondering if it makes more sense to take flac files from these pressed silver or just use the HD tracks for my mix of insanity.

What's wrong with the official FLAC16?

Would it kill them to do this for the 1998 tour?

You should use HDTracks, but if you do, remember that if you are combining tracks for editing purposes (such as joining the end of a previous track to the beginning of the next one), you have to align the sector boundaries first before you combine them, or there will be a gap there.

I've been listening to a bunch of the 2014 US shows lately and enjoying them a lot.

It's been very pleasant.

Any suggestions or favorites so far? I've only heard Moline so far but I thought it sounded much better than anything from 2013

I really enjoyed Moline, probably the pick of the bunch, but I thought St Louis, Memphis and Milwaukee were really good shows too.

St. Louis gets such mixed reviews. I've heard others call it the worst of the run. I haven't listened to it yet.

That's nuts! Things wilt a bit in the encores but the main set is totally electric.

Out of those I've heard (everything bar Lincoln and Austin 2), Tulsa and Austin 1 were easily the least enjoyable for me. I bought Tulsa with high hopes as it has such a great setlist but I found it a real slog.

Yup. I was there. The first 6 songs were great though. In my attended bottom 5.

The first ACL show was ok, but boy they really mailed in the second one. It seemed like they felt it was a great idea to do two weekends there, but then they it arrived and doing it was a hassel.

I've tried listening to Milwaukee but it's just so much more sloppy than Moline... No Code comes off much better than Yield

In 2011, the Grateful Dead released a boxset of the 1972 European tour. They were limited and actually put the purchaser's name on the case.

I always thought PJ should do this with 93, 94, 96 or 98. Package them in a Ed Ved-old fashioned like suitcase, with replica mini posters, photos and setlists. etc.

I just finished listening to the Autralian leg. I can't imagine going to a concert in heat like that. I'd rank them as:

Sydney
Melbourne
Adelaide
Auckland
Perth
Gold Coast

Nice surprise to see Sydney at the top of your heap :)

It was a blast in person (longest show they've ever done in this country) but I thought the boot didn't quite capture it. Eddie was drunk before the show even started (saw him downing a few while watching Cosmic Psychos) so it was a great performance considering what that usually means.
