The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I had access to my mom's credit card because I was building a PC at the time and I needed it to order parts. She was pissed when she saw the entire first leg of the north american tour on her statement.

Each of the three legs of that tour were offered as bundles, cheaper than buying each show individually. I forget how much it was but I knew that if I bought one of them it would be enough money that she'd be pissed, but not so much money that she'd kill me. I calculated that perfectly. She got over it, I kept the CDs.
Still listening chronologically. San Sebastian is pretty good; there were a bunch of technical snafus, but besides that the performances were solid.
I really like that San Sebastian show. Back then a sloppy show seemed more like an occasional thing. I have not heard every show from the 2000 tour, but I get the impression most were pretty tight. San Sebastian was an off night and the band knew it. The crowd didn't care though. They are vocal and it sounds like it would have been a blast to be there.
The show definitely has it's flaws, but there are some really good versions of songs too. I like that RVM is pretty short and sweet (under 6 minutes) and Daughter with the "Love Me Two Times" tag is pretty cool.
I'm glad all are available again from PJ.com. I may pick up a few more shows to add to my collection. I especially want a few more European shows and some from the last leg.

The first London show is the first of the tour that could start to creep into the pantheon. Opening with 5 Binaural songs gives it a nice urgent feel (like, you can tell they wanted to show off those songs in particular), and I really like these encores for some reason:
enc 1: Timeless Melody [the Las], Insignificance, Rearviewmirror, Better Man, I Got Shit, Go enc 2: Soon Forget, Soldier of Love, Yellow Ledbetter
Timeless Melody may be my favorite Pearl Jam cover.
It is certainly up there.
it's so good
Yep. I'm a big fan of "I Got You" too. I actually heard the Split Endz version earlier today and it reminded me it's been awhile since I've heard PJ. I have it from Verona, Italy this tour, I'm gonna have to go and listen.

There were some good Baba O'Riley's that year, too. Since then, they've totally lost the precise timing you need to play that song. Check out how god-awful the end of the song goes around 2:50 in this video:

Ah Verona. My first bootleg. Will forever hold a place in my heart, this version of this song especially.

I found a site that has most of them. I tried to dl Berlin and came up nada, though. So far, I've been able to get both shows from Italy. We'll see how this shakes out, ha ha!

I'm in a hardcore 2000 Tour binge at the moment. I've been listening to other stuff here & there, but just going back to these wonderful shows have been nostalgia at its' finest! The shows are so easy to listen to compared to the 3 disc sets. In some ways, I wish they'd trim the shows back down to be more concise like these, but I get the celebratory vibe of the last few tours. It's just not really possible to find many faults with any of the shows I've listened to so far.
