Listening to pinkpop 18 show, man is sounds pretty good so far. Absolutely KILLER version of MYM here. Might be one of the best they ever played.

MYM sound awesome this year. The guitars sound fucking huge and Ed´s vocals have been really good.

I'm getting conflicting reports from VG and spenno about these 2018 boots. I don't know what to think

2018 boots: Variably half-decent to pretty good, if modern bugaboos -- downtuning, vocal shortcomings, singalongs, etc. -- can be overlooked.

Most Pearl Jam fans couldn't recognize a down-tuned song if they tried.

Actually it’s one of the key because I enjoy so much 2018 Europe boots. One of the best boots from 2008 at least. The band is on top and Ed has good level many times

I'm trying so hard to make sense of this post.

Actually MC tempo it’s the key because of I enjoy boots 2018 so much, one of the best since 2008 bootlegs. The band is on fire and Ed depending the hour and the day but in good level in average

Maybe it’s a little better for understanding

Just the usual stuff like Comatose, Got Some and Habit.

Oceans at Barcelona too, but they played it in the usual key later in the tour.

Great version of Parting ways, but london 1 is not awesome. Ed'd voice is completely shot here.

5/26/00, Velodromo de Anoeta, San Sebastian, Spain (Basque Country)

This bootleg sounds GREAT, but man they go from blistering versions to absolute train wrecks. I know it's early in the tour but that version of Alive was like they hadn't played it for 5 years. Last Kiss is a shocker too. But man during that first set when they are on the are ON.

I'm loving waiting till I see these 2000 boots pop up online for sale cheap and taking a chance purchase. If anyone is selling let me know :)

Love that show. There's indeed a lot of mistakes & then a lot of brilliant stuff as well.

The best thing about this show is the banter at the end of Last Kiss ("Nuthin's workin' for me man!!") and Alive. Kind of a fun and charming start to the tour but most songs just completely shit the bed.

My first PJ show. :luv:
A 5 hour road trip, running to catch a train and cross the border, waiting under the pouring rain outside the venue, then rushing to the front rows, waiting... and getting a incredible start with Release > Given to Fly > Do the Evolution > Corduroy, and a great set to follow, despite the surfing and the joints. I still get chills when I hear Jeremy from the bootleg, so many memories nearly 20 years later...

Listened to a bit of London 2 and the Seattle shows and I was quite shocked by how badly Ed is struggling vocally. I think this is the worst I've ever heard him sound and it's not one or two off nights, it's consistent.
