Uh, I just finished the South American shows from earlier this year. They stop playing Yellow Ledbetter at 3 minutes, before Mike's outro. What's the fucking point? (Seems like it may have been a curfew issue.)

I'm going to go listen to a Phish bootleg, where they never cut off solos (or anything else).

Yeah, curfew issue indeed. They stopped playing exactly on midnight. So Mike had to cut It. Anyway It was a great concert, lots of fun, one of their biggest crowds ever and amazing setlist for a festival night.

Probably the only good version from Cant Deny Me in the tour...

Phish also keeps noodling on and on and on and on. I have what I believe to be an adult level attention span but I can see why alternate substances are required, sometimes to keep from falling asleep. They are a fun band when the mood strikes in smaller doses though.

San Diego 2000. Man that has to be the best version of RVM I've ever heard.

I've been digging the '18 shows Sirius has started playing. Band sounds great!

This show is so good.

Listened to most of Amsterdam 2 over the last few days. The main set is very hit and miss - a few great performances but mainly duds and Ed sounds like hell - but the encores are surprisingly great, especially Once > Black > RVM.

Amsterdam 1 was very rough, the second night was definitely the better performance overall, despite its unevenness. Really good version of Better Man to end the main set, however.

Ed's voice at London 1 is absolutely shredded, he virtually squawks his way through Brain of J. He really sounds terrible. I haven't heard beyond the main set yet but I can't imagine how he sounds by the end of the show.

Yeah, given the usual bullshit they pull with 'recording issues' I'm shocked this show was actually released.

I am on Milan and I agree. Man, they (Ed) butchered Release on this one, though.

Padova has the most ferocious version of Do the Evolution I’ve heard the band play in a good while, singalong section notwithstanding.

I listened to some of the Prague show the other day, first listen of a bootleg of theirs since - maybe - 2011. I really liked the intro to Love Boat Captain. I honestly don't know if it's an improv, or something taken from another song, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Have they done it before, and if so, when was the first time they did?

Funny I’m listening to this and was going to comment what a good version of LBC it is at this show. That intro is just a chord progression from LBC they just have that slow build into it.

I haven't gotten to Prague yet, but I know they did it earlier this year too (London 1?). I have vague memories of them doing it in the past, too, just can't remember exactly when.
