Eh I saw them in Montreal 2011 and it was the worst pj show I've seen.

The 2011 Canadian tour was pretty bad -- that was the tour that really derailed my keeping up with bootlegs, setlists, etc. Just a lot of really sloppy shows.

I had a few of those shows and only kept the ones from Toronto. I think I had the Montreal one at one point? I prefer the European shows from 2012 to those. I still wouldn't mind catching a show somewhere up there.

This was me with the 2008 tour. Since then I just rely on RM for downloads / tour compilations.

That and the BS Tour between 2009-2010, I pretty much skip, aside from ridley's Australian mix. There's a handful of 2010 shows I wouldn't mind getting again, but the way the shows were recorded during this era sounds atrocious to me. That's what deters me from grabbing a few of them.

I never got the real hate for the 2008 tour at the time because I was pretty happy with the shows I saw (both Mansfield shows). But then I listened to recordings of some of the other shows and totally got it.

The 2008 bootlegs were particularly brutal as they were the first shows available after the fantastic 2006 tour. Man, that was rough.

Yeah and what is particularly annoying is that the 09 boots for the most part sounded fine

In fact they've been fine since until some of the '16 boots. Some of them have some issues

I got the 2016 Miami boot and it was fucked up with patchy static (whatever that is). I complained, they said there was nothing wrong with the recording and sent me a replacement. That one was even more fucked up than the first one.

Hartford was just as good (if not better) than both of those shows; so happy I made the drive.

Its weird, but I kind of like the way the 2008 boots are mixed. I only have 3, I like WPB and Hartford not too crazy about boneroo.

Yeah, 2008, 2009 and 2010 all sound like complete garbage as Brett didn't mix them.

Amsterdam 6/16/2014. I love this show, but don't understand why they split this and a few other ones over 3 discs. Anything around 2 hours, 40 minutes fits easily on 2. Baltimore 2013 was an exception, because there wasn't really a good place to slit it up. A couple more would've easily fit on 2 had Ed just talked less. Do they just like the look of it, or is it all about that extra $1 for the hard copies, which are cdr's, unless you get the entire tour box set?

I'm listening to this right now. About 1/3 of the way through, on SoH right now. It's all been quite good except for only a few songs, Evacuation was okay, a solid attempt, if they'd only play it a bit more I think they could easily nail it. I wasn't much of a fan of Ed's vocals on Thin Air, but for just about everything else he's sounded great. Rival had a couple rough parts, but was otherwise okay. I think I really like the sped up Light Years, it turns into a pretty kick-ass version after it gets started, the bridge sounded especially good.

Why not just listen to a 2000 show?
