This is close to mine. You just reminded me too that I was supposed to go to the St. Louis show that tour and my ride fell through. Ugh.
Mine would be:
Prague Hamburg West Palm Beach I Saratoga St. Louis
But you pretty much can't go wrong. Even Sacramento, the shortest show of the tour, is one of my other favorites.
These are the best boots from 2000, imo: Boise Chicago Portland Toronto Kansas City San Diego
I love that Portland show so much. This tour is so good.
I feel like Portland rarely gets listed among RMers top boots of '00. It's an absolutely insane show. Grievance, Corduroy, Go, Dissident, Habit, Black, Porch, RVM, Fuckin Up are all complete shithammers amongst a superbly-chosen setlist of really great songs and very well-played versions of each. There's also a really good Untitled leading into MFC. Anyone else feel this strongly about this show?

I feel like Chicago 2000 is really the perfect PJ show, or at least my perfect PJ show. The trio of Insignificance-->Black-->Parting Ways to end the set is just extraordinary, and that version of Parting Ways is one of my favorite PJ performances. There's this moment that sounds like a decaying siren Mike finds during the jam at the end that's only there for a few seconds, but it makes the song for me.

I listened to the Euro 2000 tour recently (to decide which ones to shitcan), and I really enjoyed Ljubljana and Verona. I thought those were relatively tighter than most of the others.

I absolutely love this show. It gets the Portland bonus from me too.

Thank you to everyone for their contributions to their favourite 2000 tour shows. A quick compilation has narrowed it down to these as the top 5.
Boise Chicago Saratoga Hamburg West Palm Beach 1
I'll also check out the much unheralded Portland show next.

One of the very best boots of 2000. That Insignificance-->Black-->Parting Ways sequence you mentioned is absolutely ferocious, and Mike's guitar squalls in the jam of PW are more facemelting than most of the lightning fast solos he routinely peels off. Pretty much every performance here is beyond top-notch including the best version of "In Hiding" from the entire tour.

I think it was the first live experience where i really felt there could be something transcendent about seeing your favorite band play your favorite songs. What an incredible night that was.
I recently listened to Prague 2000 for the first time in a long time - an underrated gem from the Euro tour. Probably the last tour where Ed had complete and remarkable disregard for his vocal chords

All of those shows are fantastic, but Saratoga is especially notable for its unusually high energy level which is why it always tops my lists. Not a mellow show for the most part and very spot-on.
Chicago is also very tight.
And I cannot stress enough...
Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh
This one has a little bit of everything. If it was as lengthy as State College it would completely shit all over it.

I don't know about that. Some of the 2005 boots (which I barely listened to back in the day) are impressing the hell out of me. There are a few where Ed sounds a little hoarse, but there are some where he sounds wild yet in full control. Better than 2000 and 2003 for sure.
