Wow, MSG1 - 6/24/2008!!! What a freakin' killer bootleg... and maybe the best setlist the band has ever conjured up?
I was at this show and it wasn't that great of an experience live. My seats kinda sucked and the audio feed sounded muffled and distant for some reason. It's hard to explain but the energy was lacking for me big time even though I was totally freakin' out by how awesome the setlist was. Well, after listening to it recently, I'm just blown away by how great this show is. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's in the market for a new boot.
Highlights: Hard to Imagine (opener!) All Night (w/ backing vocals) Corduroy (killer version) Down (always one of my fav live songs) Who You Are (great version of a song I've never head played live before and a really cool outro) Whipping (always a kickass rocker live) 1/2 Full (same as above) Love Reign O'er Me W.M.A. (another of my fav old school songs that I've been dying to hear a full version live) Leash All Along the Watchtower Indifference (might be my fav PJ closer, a nice change of pace from the predictable YL or RITFW)

Irvine 1 2003.
One of my favourite shows, been quite a while between spins.
Ed sounds unbelievably strong in comparison to more recent shows and the band kick out the fucking jams. Great show.
(I'm such a jerk for ever complaining about Matt Cameron. Guy's solid as a rock, it's hardly his fault the band began to suck.)
That's a really great show. The band themselves said so in an interview. It's like they decided to go out and kick ass that night, and did so without a ton of talk or extended jams.

Berlin '06. I love it when they open with "Go" and this is a good one. Let's hope the rest of this show is as good.
This has been my first show! They really had a ton of energy on this tour. The opening songs of this show have been killer: Go, Save You, Animal, DTE, RVM

Love Reign O'er Me felt like an out of body experience at the time. Like something important was happening in that moment. This was a great great show, and I did not have good seats either. It was just amazing from start to finsih. I'm gonna listen to this show tonight or tomorrow. Thanks. I do need to finish listening to the MSG 2 2010 show for the thousandth time during my workout tonight. I left off right beofre Just Breathe.

I need to listen to those more often...2008 and 2010 are the both, the tours i dont like. Specially 2008, ed is really in bad form most of the shows.

Yes, this is one of the more recent "Black" versions where I enjoy its length. Often "Black" is a skipper on a recent Bootleg for me because you only hear the audience the last 2 minutes. But here is a really cool tag that Ed is singing. 2006 has just been great for me: first Pearl Jam show, Soccer World Cup in my home country,...ahhh, memories
