Havent finished it yet, but this one has so much energy and sounds great! Deep was fucking amazing...Untitled - MFC too...that guitar at the end of MFC is so fucking tasty...
Also the bridge of Hail, Hail...
Getting back to this one...Quick Escape is not as tight as another shows...still, damn what a monster of a song.

Finally finished Gorge night 1 in 2006. WOW WHAT A SHOW. SO GOOD. every time I listen to this I wonder how I listen to modern boots and think they sound good. I cant wait to listen to the SECOND one. What a wonderful show Eddie sounds so good, and the vibe just seemed amazing.
I mean Footsteps, Once, Alive, State of Love and Trust, Crown of Thorns, Leash, Porch in a row for encore? i don't even love all those songs (well mostly I dont like COT) but what a group.
Dirty Frank is not a favorite of mine but it sounded better than I would have thought....they were obviously well prepared for this tour.
but what the heck crowd was this because they seemed to know that song of all songs lol

This was unexpected, but the recordings of the shows with the fill-in drummers really gave me a renewed appreciation for how solid Matt Cameron is back there.

It's illegal to compliment Matt Cameron on a PJ message board post-2006.

Honestly, after watching a few videos from Amsterdam, I kind of agree.
I was creamin my jeans over the Richard Stuverud version of WMA, but the one with Matt from Amsterdam is ON POINT.
I'm also thrilled that they appear to be playing that song semi-regularly now.

(Though I still think Corduroy never sounds as good as the album ever. I don't like the changes and he never nails the bridge with the melodic changes and I hate the growling. I feel like it's one of the songs that transfers the worst to a live setting but I'm not sure why. Did they EVER do it really well like the album? )
I believe early '95 are the versions you are looking for:

My god I really like Avacado as an album, but if they did a live cut of THAT album? Oh man. These songs come ALIVE live. I've heard such good versions of Severed Hand, World Wide Suicide, and though they haven't got to it in this show yet as I listen, Life Wasted. Come Back also hits better live.
Do you have the "Definitive Live" compilation that was put together here a few years ago? Disc 9:
Disc 9: 'Pearl Jam'
9-01 Life Wasted (St Paul 2006-06-26) 9-02 World Wide Suicide (Vitoria 2006-09-02) 9-03 Comatose (Detroit 2006-05-22) 9-04 Severed Hand (Melbourne 2006-11-13) 9-05 Marker In The Sand (Prague 2006-09-22) 9-06 Parachutes (Portland 2006-07-20) 9-07 Unemployable (San Francisco 2006-07-15) 9-08 Big Wave (San Francisco 2006-07-16) 9-09 Gone (Sydney 2006-11-18) 9-10 Wasted Reprise (Toronto 2006-05-10) 9-11 Army Reserve (Zagreb 2006-09-26) 9-12 Come Back (Santa Barbara 2006-07-13) 9-13 Inside Job (Las Vegas 2006-07-06) 9-14 Of The Earth (Third Man Records 2016-06-09)
