Something also happened at the Brooklyn 1 show. Ed finished that one by calling Stone an asshole at the end of it.

Why?

I guess he wanted to keep playing and Stone cut it short, maybe?

East Troy, WI - Oct. 8, 2000 - "The Ice Bowl"

My first PJ show. Thought I'd lost or sold the boot but found it in the basement last night. Extremely tight, kick ass show.

I'm going to try and listen to the Moline show from 2014. I'm going to try to get into these album shows a little more. I just didn't get all the hype surrounding them. I think that's what jades my opinion about them, to be honest. I love the S/T show from Torino in 2006, so I should be able to appreciate the recent ones a little more.

Is this something that can be heard on the boot?

Yes. At the end when Ed is saying goodnight and giving shout outs to the band he says "Stone Gossard, asshole." It's a pretty good show with a great set list, but has a couple of equipment issues.

Aside from OTG being a teeny bit rusty and a lyrical mistake on Once, this show is really good. This is only the 2nd time I've heard it, but it's a fun listen. I was worried after starting it again, but they settle in nicely around the 2nd verse of Once. Nice ebb & flow to the set and some personal favorites. A highlight from 2016. Top 5. I'm in between 3 1/2 and 4 Stars for this one.

Thanks to the other thread I grabbed a few shows from this tour and listened to this show in the car tonight. Needless to say, I'm going to listen to another in a bit. I may have to grab the entire Tour... 5 stars, easily... The band is tight and Ed sounds excellent. Lots of cool jams and tags at this show. Wow.. My favorite thing about the bootlegs is that they capture every stage of the band and this is Prime PJ.. :P

Ottawa 5/8/2016 PJ in Canada is a wonderful thing. :P

On a lot of the 2012 shows and some from 2014, there's this one guy that periodically screams : "Thank You So Fucking Much!!" He made an appearance on this one. :haha:

My new favorite RVM's are on this tour. Tight but loose.. Ed talks about working on the record and how they think it's the best they've ever done. After hearing the demos, it could've been.. :| Anyway, love this show and this tour is the gift that keeps on giving. :P

The best RVMs are from the first north american leg of the 2000 tour when they were trying to impress Sonic Youth.

Yeah, those were pretty awesome, too. A few of us got a shout out from Ed in VA Beach for standing and cheering for them when they played. We were on the lawn rocking out. 8-)

Jones Beach 2 (I think) is a really good noise jam, with a little Kinks "You Really Got Me" riff thrown in for good measure.

The jam sections in "RVM" were great in 2000, but the more structured part of the song was already in autopilot mode. I like the '94-'95 versions best.

Second night in London 2000 right now. This is one of the ones I had on CD and I listened to it lots, but it's been a few years. I remember it being great, and it really is. When Ed doesn't say anything into the mic between songs until 8-9 songs in, you know things are going well.

Spoiler: show
set: Sometimes, Grievance, Corduroy, Hail Hail, Animal, Dissident, Nothing As it Seems, In Hiding, Even Flow, Thin Air, Habit, Untitled, MFC, Off He Goes, Daughter/(On a Rope), Not For You, State of Love And Trust, Immortality, Rearviewmirror
enc: Light Years, Do The Evolution, Last Exit, Elderly Woman, Black, Alive

I was at this show with my dad (his second PJ show). I love the setlist. We are both big Springsteen fans, so them busting out a full band version of Open All Night naturally led to hysterics.

Awesome! This is one of my favorite all time shows. The run from Evolution-->1/2 Full is killer. There was a really nice flow to this show and the Springsteen cover is the icing on the cake. Ed told some funny stories and had a fun night. I swear I could hear him say "Miley Cyrus" during Porch. lol. Glad you and your dad had a blast. :)
