i would have no problem if they opened every show w/ 'pendulum'. its not only the best song on the album, it translate the best live, too. opening w/ it, ed's voice sounds great. they could extend the solo a little too. its so fucking good.

i think LB will be played a ton. i dont really like it that much compared to most of the album, but they seem to love playing it live.

if they are gonna keep doing slower first encores, i think 'yellow moon' will stick around more than most songs.

i think thats probably it as far as "regularly" being played. i love the new album, but they have so many songs at this point in their career.

He said "Eddy". Haha.

Lightning Bolt will be played the most. My Father's Son, Getaway and Sleeping By Myself are gone.

I'm guessing they'd keep things similar through next year for Australia and Europe. Who knows, maybe they'll figure out Getaway and My Father's Son for a live performance.

After that, say 2015 and beyond:

Regulars:
Lightning Bolt
Infallible
Pendulum
Sirens
Yellow Moon, if they keep with the acoustic portion of the show

Semi regular:
MYM
Let the Records Play
Swallowed Whole (I'm surprised this doesn't get more play, it fits well in a set)
Future Days

Rare/Gone:
Getaway
My Father's Son
Sleeping by Myself (I still feel like this should have remained an EV solo track)

If you guys are right then I'm glad I saw Getaway while it lasted.

And I will probably never get the LB trophy on PJ stat tracker.

Will be played:

Getaway (Will get RVM / Corduroy / Do the Evolution play)
Pendulum (It will come as often as Release from now on as an opener)
Lightning Bolt (a crowd pleaser)
Swallowed Hole (Great energy live.. a builder)

Will go down hard:

Infaillible
Future Days
Let the records play
Sleeping by myself

Rare setlist appearances:

Yellow Moon.. (not my choice... my opinion... one of my 3 favs on LB)
Sirens
My Father's son (really good live)

So, in other words, you think they play it at least once?

Starting with the next album tour, it will get as little play as Backspacer gets now, which is surprisingly little. They will keep a couple of songs somewhat regular, perhaps these three: Yellow Moon, Lightning Bolt and Mind Your Manners.

As it will be a covers album, most will be replaced by their new album analogue:

LB -> Rock You Like a Hurricane
Sirens -> Born to be my Baby
Future Days -> Like a Prayer
Infallible -> Beautiful
Yellow Moon -> Sleeping by Myself (solo acoustic)

Lets hope Pendulum does not become a sporadic opener... they played it #20 in Melbourne so...

I really hope they keep playing let the records play, it's really sounding better live each time.
